Stojmenović Marija, MSc in Economics
Marija Stojmenović was born on 26 September 1991 in Vranje. In hometown she
completed primary and secondary school, and at the University of Niš, Faculty of
Economics – study programme Finance, Banking and Insurance – she graduated in
July 2014. She defended her Bachelor’s thesis on the topic of Adam Smith's Economic
Thought, from the subject of Economic Doctrines, with a grade 10 (ten). At the same
faculty, in 2014/2015 she enrolled into the Master's course - the module General
Economics. She passed all the exams from the curriculum with an average grade 10
(ten). She defended the Master's thesis on the topic of Neoliberal Schools of Economic
Thought: Monetarism and New Classical Economy in October 2015. She enrolled into
the doctoral studies from 1 November 2018 at the Faculty of Economics at the
University of Kragujevac – Macroeconomics.
She started her career in March 2016 as a teller at the branch of “Eurobank“ a.d.
Beograd in Vranje. Since December 2021, she has been employed as the Office
Manager in the company ”Hanibal” d.o.o. in Vranje.
She is fluent in English. In her work she uses Windows and MS Office – Word,
Excel and PowerPoint.
She is the author of several scientific papers related to banking, insurance and
tourism.
ANALYSIS OF MARKET CONCENTRATION IN THE INSURANCE SECTOR OF THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA
Analiza i merenje nivoa koncentracije na tržištu osiguranja bitni su zato što omogućavaju sagledavanje trenutnog stanja na posmatranom tržištu, kao i sagledavanje promena koje bi mogle da se dogode u budućnosti. Predmet istraživanja rada jeste analiza nivoa koncentracija na tržištu osiguranja Republike Srbije kroz prizmu dva pokazatelja: racija koncentracije (CR) i Herfindal-Hiršmanovog indeksa koncentracije (HHI), za vremenski raspon od 2014. do 2020. godine. Rezultati istraživanja pokazali su prisustvo koncentracije na domaćem tržištu osiguranja. Ključne reči: koncentracija, tržište osiguranja Republike Srbije, racio koncentracije, Herfindal-Hiršmanov indeks koncentracije.
