INFLUENCE OF CSR ACTIVITIES ON OPINIONS OF INSURANCE SERVICE USERS WHEN PURCHASING INSURANCE

Corporate Social Responsibility implies a company's independent determination to direct its activities towards social welfare in the community in which it runs its business operations. Insurance companies as institutional investors contribute significantly to the development of the entire economy on one hand, while on the other, through socially responsible business, they support important projects for development of the entire community. In insurance sector, CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) is deemed a long-term investment, because a company makes voluntary contributions to support the community, thereby directly strengthening its position on the market. The paper presented opinions of five categories of insurance service users on CSR of insurance companies. Focus was on the extent insurance service users believed that insurance companies helped development of a local and wider community, whether they perceived their insurance company as a socially responsible company and whether they considered its socially responsible behaviour before choosing it. Results showed the necessity of promoting socially responsible activities of insurance companies in order to make the target group more aware of what their chosen insurance company actively undertook in that field.

SORS 2012 – ANNUAL CONFERENCE

SORS, tradicionalni susret na najvišem nivou delatnosti osiguranja, i ove godine, kao i prethodnih, okupio je predsednike uprava i ostale rukovodioce najznačajnijih osiguravajućih i reosiguravajućih društava iz zemalja bivše Jugoslavije kao što su Kompanija „Dunav osiguranje”, DDOR „Novi Sad”, „Bosna re”, „Croatia Lloyd”, „Croatia osiguranje”, „Euroherc osiguranje”, „Lovćen osiguranje”, „Osigurateljna polica”, „Sava re”, „Sarajevo osiguranje”, „Triglav osiguranje” i druga. Pored osiguravajućih kuća iz regiona, SORS je ugostio i svetski poznata društva AON, „Gen Re”, „Munich Re”, „Partner Re”, SCOR, „Swiss Re”, „Willis”, što dodatno potvrđuje ugled i značaj ovih susreta. Od 13. do 15. juna, u Sarajevu se okupilo 166 učesnika, uglavnom predsednika i članova uprava osiguravajućih društava i institucija koje nadziru njihov rad, kao i predstavnici drugih zainteresovanih grupa povezanih s tržištima osiguranja u Evropi, ali i šire. Uz razmenu iskustava i upoznavanje s novim kretanjima u delatnosti osiguranja, glavna tema bila je „Kako zaštiti korisnike usluga osiguranja”

KOPAONIK BUSINESS FORUM 2011

Kopaonik Biznis forum 2011, sa oko 500 učesnika iz zemlje i inostranstva, 70 panelista i 50 novinara, otvorio je predsednik Udruženja korporativnih direktora Srbije Toplica Spasojević. U pozdravnom govoru Spasojević je rekao da, pored pozitivnih pokazatelja poput smanjenja deficita i povećanja izvoza, ima i negativnih pojava, a to su, pre svega, smanjenje zaposlenosti – 200.000 nezaposlenih više nego u prethodnom periodu. Spasojević je ocenio i da novi postkrizni model može da bude dobar polazni materijal za preobražaj privrede
